xsite architecture was established in November 2000 as a practice with high quality design principles at its core. Offering architectural, urban environment, project management and design consultancy services, xsite aims to effect change in people’s perceptions of what is possible through its involvement with high profile and quality projects in the arts, residential, community and commercial sectors.

xsite architecture is gaining a reputation for thoughtful contemporary interventions in large and small scale new and existing buildings and environments. These are particularly in cultural venues, Listed Buildings and through engagement with the arts and community sector.

At the core of our work is the belief that people are central to a successful process and a successful product. We work hard at building and maintaining relationships, running workshops and consultation sessions for client groups, workers and users where appropriate. An open process encourages ownership of the project and underpins its future value to the community it sets out to serve.

The main aim in any project is to maintain a responsible approach to our work. This includes consideration of environmental and energy consumption criteria, together with revenue costs of the building, the original brief and budget and contribution to the broader urban context.
